An unfortunate situation, and a series of events has led me to making one of the biggest and most devastating sales of my life..
I'm selling my Atari Wico Command Control Joystick.
Growing up in suburban Australia in the mid 1980s, this controller epitomized everything that was great about being young. Honesty, innocence, hope, vibrance and consistency. Consistency to love, consistency to be loved, and the love playing my Atari. With this controller. My Wico Command. Of course during these years 84-91, other controllers came and went. There was your standard yet comfortable Atari CX40, the flair of the Funvision and the ever alluring Konix Speedking, yet none of these, not one came close to smoothness and ease that came with my Atari Wico Command Control Joystick.
Anyway, I'm now 24 and being forced to move out of home. Fairly reasonable i suppose considering my age, and yet I've got no way of my paying my bond for a new place! I don't start working in my chosen field for another week having just graduated. On top of that, my girlfriend's coming home from out of town in just over a week and i promised her i'd have a place by then. If I dont have it, i'm getting nothing.. Please, I cannot get her angry again!
Please Please Please help by bidding so I can start my life properly in a new house, minus this controller, unfortunately.
Winner will also receive a memorial timeline of the joystick, and a personal letter of appreciation from me, including a photo of me in my new home.. :-)I hope you can give my little joystick a good new home, and by doing so, allow me to get my own.
